At the silver auction the skønvirke (Danish Art Nouveau or Jugenstil) period is particularly well represented with fine pieces of Danish silver at its most beautiful.

Thorvald Bindesbøll

Large Skønvirke (cf. above) silver bowl, sides chased with geometric designs and cloud ornamentation, round profiled base. Made by Holger Kyster, 1909. Weight 1260 gr. H.10. Diam. 26.

Johan Rohde

Large silver centrepiece, smooth open-work stem with stylised foliage and cones, round base. Georg Jensen design 196, 1925-1932. Weight 1260 gr. H. 20.
