With this model, Wegner shows how versatile he is. Designed in 1965 four years after the Bull Chair Wegner takes up the theme from the Bull Chair and reuses the same basic form of the armrest to create a chair that is light, elegant and stackable as opposed to the powerful, potent and solid Bull Chair. With the JH 701, Wegner creates a chair that is equally relevant for offices as for residential use. Despite its metal frame, the chair with its wooden back/armrest leaves no doubt that this is the work of a true craftsman.
