Jean-Baptiste Joseph Golinbiesky, Polish by origin, born in Auxerre. Pupil of the French portrait painter Francois-Edouard Picot (1786–1868) in Paris. Golinbiesky was active as a portrait painter from 1839 to 1869 and exhibited at the Paris Salon.

Crackles, retouches and repairs and a few minimal perforations. Minimal peelings mainly at the edge along with a fold in upper right corner and a few pressure marks along the edge. In need of cleaning.
