A Danish South-Jutland silver sugar bowl, of oval shape, the sides engraved with flower and leaf garlands with two oval medallions pricked with owner's data “Marien Nisses” and “Flauth 1799”, raised on four supports. Maker Martin Hinrich Petersen, Haderslev c. 1799. Weight 222 g. H. 8.5 cm. L. 21 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Slightly wobbly supports.
