D.F.D.S. is a Danish shipping company. To celebrate the company's 50th jubilee, they produced three different types of cigar boxes: A single gold box for the Danish king (Christian X), a few in silver for the board members, and multiple bronze boxes for the management.
Normal wear due to age and use, including scratches, dents and marks. Inside of lid with dedication “1866 - December - 1916. Til minde om Det Forenede Dampskibsselskabs 50 aarige stiftelsesdag”.
