“Kvindehoved”, “Keramikeren” (“Woman's head”, “The Ceramicist”) . Two stoneware vases modelled with biblical motifs in relief. Decorated with resp. Sung glaze and oxblood glaze. Signed Jais, resp. marked 20248 and 20247. Designed 1931. The oxblood-glazed vase with patinated bronze base and lid. Marked monogram KA. Royal Copenhagen. Furthermore the book Kai Flor: “Jais Nielsen Keramik”. Arthur Jensens Forlag København 1938. (3)

Normal wear due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Vase with oxblood glaze also with small chips and crackles on foot rim. Book with signs of wear and age, including handling marks and yellow paper. Book with dedication: “Kære Dr. Ole Nielsen! En hjertelig Lykønskning på 50 aarsdagen fra deres hengivne Kai Flor. 26/2 38”.
