Woman in drapery. Signed Aug. Rodin. Inscribed on the reverse: “Ce dessin m'a été donné par Rodin au moment de la publication de mon ouvrage illustré: 'Rodin. L'Oeuvre et l'Homme'. Judith Cladel'”. Pencil on paper. Visible size 30,5×19,5 cm.

Provenance: Erling Haghfelt Kunsthandel, Copenhagen. Provenance: The collection of Mr T. Højby, Stockbroker, Copenhagen. Acquired from the above, May 1957.

Photo-certificate No. 1222 from Jean Cailac, signed and dated Paris, April 25 1957, enclosed. The work will be included in the Catalogue raisonné of Rodin's drawings and paintings in preperation by Christina Buley-Uribe (certificate enclosed).
