A Danish gilt silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, gilt interior, the top cast with two savages holding a facetted rhinestone, heart-shaped body engraved with rocailles, set with two clear rhinestones with painted flowers below, base stem with two rampant lions, oval base with balm hide, engraved with monogram M (?). Maker Michael Mogensen Foght, Copenhagen 1782–1814. Total weight 74 g. H. 9.5 cm.
