Charlotte was a princess of Belgium who married Austrian arch duke and prince of Hungary and Bohemia, Ferdinand Maximilian (1832–1867). Charlotte became empress, when her husband was enthroned as emperor of Mexico.
Repairs / patches on the reverse. A few minor retouches. Peelings, crackles and surface scratches. In need of a light surface cleaning.
