A Danish South Jutland silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, set with 70 blue, red and clear glass stones, the base with balm hide, pricked with year 1835. Maker Nicolay Hansen, Tønder, trade licenced 1790. Weight app. 116 g. C. 1800. H. 11.5 cm.

Condition

The top bent. Defective hinge at the lid. One missing stone at the base. One has been replaced. Tiny hole by the one handle. Tiny stain of verdigris at the top. Wear due to age and use.
