Ole Wanscher (b. Frederiksberg 1903, d. Charlottenlund 1985)

Large freestanding desk of Brazilian rosewood, with eight legs, front with six drawers, back with pullout leaf and two cabinets. Made 1940–1945 by cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen. H. 76 cm. L. 176 cm. W. 87 cm.

Wear, including scratches and marks. Edge chips and larger veneer damages. Unevenly faded. Two handles missing for pullout leaf.

Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
