A British iron mounted half stocked percussion pistol c 1840. The chequered butt has no cap, slightly engraved back action lock with sliding safety marked SMITH LONDON, c 20 cm long octagonal barrel in calibre c 13 mm marked as the lock held by a single pin, iron ramrod and trigger guard ending in ananas.
The hammer repaired and the sliding safety does not work, the stock worn with a crack on the left side by the noose cap. The ramrod a replacement.
