The 8th Artel, Moscow 1908-1917

A pair of Russian 14k gold cufflinks, of shaped navette form, decorated with translucent lavender enamel on guilloched ground with gold floral cagework and an old mine-cut diamond. The 8th Artel, Moscow 1908–1917, 56 standard, French assay mark. L. 2.5 cm. In a box from Wartski, London. (3).

Condition

We have only noticed minimal wear due to age and use on the gold plus minimal irregularities on hangers. Both cufflinks are engraved on the reverse, the one “A. K. - T. S.” and the other 13 VI-1932.
