A collection of five Russian Imperial menus, theatre programmes and a memorial sheet, primarily from the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia 1896. Lithographs in colours. Comprising:

Russian Imperial menu from Peterhof 1889. One sheet. Sheet size 34×25 cm. Unframed.

Russian Imperial menu from Moscow 1896. One sheet. Sheet size 37×27 cm. Unframed.

Russian Imperial music programme from Moscow 1896. One sheeet. Sheet size 45×30 cm. Unframed.

Russian Imperial theatre programme from Moscow 1896. 12 sheets in binding. 32×23 cm. Unframed.

Russisk Imperial memorial sheet from the coronation 1896. Framed. Visible size 29×44 cm. (5).

Provenance: Frederik von Kiær, who was a Danish envoy in St. Petersburg from the last quater of the 19th century and until 1917, where he returned to Denmark. I the years living in Russia he had a close contact to the Imperial Russian Court and Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna of Russia. Thence by descents until today.

Condition

More or less - the paper has turned slightly brown with some foxing, creases, marks and scratches plus minor paperloss. Theatre programme 1896 with damaged binding and a whole on one page.
