A small Greenlandic driftwood bucket mounted with several bone carvings of seals, on handle and rim square bone mountings. Angmasalik, East Greenland, 20th century's first half. H. 14 cm.

Provenance: According to information from the Baldur Harken collection. Baldur Harken, 1923–2001, was a Danish air mechanic and lived in Angmagssalik, Greenland. His collection comprised predominantly items from the 1930–1940s.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Some cracks.
