A double barrelled flintlock pistol by Joseph Kuchenreuter c 1775 with a slender butt, small locks, c 21,5 cm long two-stage barrel in calibre c 12 mm marked JOSEPH KUCHENREUTER in silver. The stock is carved with a flower behind the tang and the same behind the back ramrod pipe.
Joseph Kuchenreuter 1712–1769 worked according to Støckel in Steinweg by Regensburg, but this pistol seems to be a little later than the year he died.
A crack on the left side of the fore-stock. All iron somewhat spotted.
