Letter from Hamsun to writer Olav Gullvåg. Grimstad. 18/10 1946. Thanking Gullvåg for his letter, and mentioning that he is the only Norwegian colleague he has heard from, and that he is awaiting his case. On lined paper, one leaf.

Letter from Hamsun to “Ministerpræsident” Quisling. Nørholm. 8/8 1944. Hamsun thanks him for a telegram and flowers he received on his 85 birthday and notes his long-standing loyalty to Quisling. Quisling (1887 – 1945) was the founder of Nasjonal Samling and headed the government of Norway during the country's occupation during World War II. Enclosed: Copies of the letters along with correspondance regarding the letter and Thorkild Hansens work on Hamsun between antiquarian Gert Knagsted, Aftenposten in Norge and Poul Sandberg in 1979.

Letter from Hamsun to author Finn Carling. 5/12. No year. 3 leaves. Fragile and with browning. Discusses his forthcoming book, his finances and laments a lack of Norwegian readership.
