Bruno Mathsson (b. Värnamo, Sverige 1907, d. s.p. 1988)

“Pernilla 2”. Freestanding two seater sofa bench with moulded beech frame. Seat and back with woven sand coloured girths. Later neckrests upholstered with “Teheran” fabric from Svenskt Tenn, fitted with leather covered buttons and straps. Manufactured and marked by Firma Karl Mathsson, Sweden. H. 99 cm. L. 125 cm. D. approx. 85 cm.

Condition

Patina due to age and use. Later girths. Frame with some scratches and marks. Armrests with some wear in lacquer. One girth by the seat's ront with small tear.
