A Danish Amager gilt silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, heartshaped, lid with flaming hear flanked by two wild men holding a crown, gilt interior, engraved with flowers and rocailles, set with two clear facetted glass stones, stem with a pair of horses, on oval base with balm hide, engraved with rococo cartouche pricked 1797. Maker Peter Jacobsen Griis, Copenhagen 1755–1787, widow continues untill 1819. Weight 94 g. H. 11 cm.
