A bearded man cleaning feathers. Signed and dated K. Bjerre 1910. Oil on canvas. 42×60 cm.

The story goes: A man was named Kjeld. He went to bed because he was feeling ill. Nevertheless, his wife forced him to pluck a bird. The next day he was dead!

Condition

In need of a light surface cleaning. Minor scratches. One repair / patch on the reverse.
