“Delegates Chair”. A teak armchair. Seat and back upholstered with black leather. Model FJ 51. Designed 1951. This example made circa 1951 by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, stamped by maker.
The chair was designed for the chamber of The United Nations Trusteeship Council. The first few pieces were made by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, while production for the UN chamber and the US market in general was manufactured by Baker Furniture.
