A Norwegian silver peg tankard, shape cylinder, chased with flowers and foliage above three claw and ball supports, the hinged cover engraved with owner's data “Niels SverKelsøn Smiset Dordi: Ols: Datter Smiset 1767” encircled by foliage, lion and ball thumbpiece. Scroll handle engraved with weight 69 lod. Maker Tore Andreas Friis, licensed in Trondhjem 1756–1777. Weight 1077 gr. H. incl. thumbpiece 23 cm.
Nils Sverksen Smiset (1718-) and Dordi Olsdatter Smedstad (1735–1812) married in 1754.
