Ivar Justus Tengbom, attributed (b. 1878, d. Stockholm 1968)
Freestanding rosewood desk with tapering legs. Front with two drawers in rail. Top and legs decorated with marquetry. This example made approx. 1915 by Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), Sweden, with maker's metal tag. H. 76 cm. L. 126 cm. W. 66 cm.

This model was designed for the interior of Stockholm's Enskilda Bank in 1915, which was designed by Tengbom achitects. Carl Malmsteen worked together with Ivar Tengbom on several projects and the marquetry details on this model resembles Malmsteen's design.
