Carl Adolf Seipel (, St. Petersburg 1846-1876)

A Russian silver-gilt cup and cover with Dionysiac motifs, finial formed as Bacchus on a domed lid, cuppa engraved with vine leaves, baluster-shaped stem on a round raised base on four cabriole supports, overall richly cast with openwork vine leaves and grapes. Carl Adolf Seipel (1846–1876), St. Petersburg town mark, 84 standard. Weight c. 696 g. H. 34 cm. Diam. 12 cm.
