Unique pair of easy chairs of caucasian nutwood. Back and sides with patinated woven cane. Cushions in seat and back and front upholstered with green plush. Manufactured by Normina A/S. (2)
These chairs were made as part of the interior for “Villa Koux” in Hellerup. Ernst Kühn was, in 1935, responsible for the construction and decoration of the house for the Henkel CEO in Denmark, Edvard Koux. It was decorated with a very luxurious extravagant interior designed by Ernst Kühn.

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Loose edgeband and slightly frayed edges.
