A Russian icon with depiction of St. Nicholas. Tempera on wooden panel. Richly chased silver-gilt rizza with cloisonné enamel decorations in the corners and the vertical sides. Maker's mark presumably AC, Moscow town mark, 84 standard. Late 19th century. 27×22 cm.

Condition

Examine with rizza on. Icon with minimal scratches. Rizza with minimal marks and dents. Enamel ornaments with minimal unevenness and one ornament placed a bit loose.
