A Danish late 19th century silver butter jar, richly chiseled with foliage, lid knob in the shape af a cow, with a blue glass liner. Maker P. Hertz, 1884. Weight excl. glass liner app. 522 gr. H. 15.5 cm.

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Lid with some minor dents. Foot rim slightly pressed. Presumably later glass liner.
