Kaj Gottlob (b. Copenhagen 1887, d. 1976)

A very rare and early modernist lounge chair with frame of nickel plated flat steel. Sides, seat and back upholstered with original patinated red leather, back fitted with brass nails. This example made to order 1935 for Lolland Falsters Industri & Landbrugsbank (Industrial & Agricultural Bank), Nykøbing Falster.

The present chair was used in the lounge outside the box room in the bank's vault.
