Fedor Petrov (, Moscow 1757)

A Russian Baroque silver beaker, of light tapering form, chased and embossed with scrolling stylized foliage and three cartouches with two animal sceneries and a putto. Fedor Petrov, assayer Igor Ivanov, Moscow town mark 1757. Weight c. 72 g. H. 8 cm. Diam. 6.6 cm.

Provenance: The Danish Envoy and Consul General Hans Poul Hoffmeyer (1893–1962). Thence by descent with residence in Denmark, until today.
