“Moonraker” was the 11th movie about the secret British agent James Bond, who initially was created back in the 1950s by the author Ian Fleming. Before making “Moonraker” the producers had planned to launch “For Your Eyes Only”, yet due to the enormous success which “Star Wars” obtained when released in 1977, they changed focus and decided to go for the star theme.
