A Danish silver “Cherub” beaker, of tapering form, engraved with renaissance ornamentation and later monogram and date PKI 1731, the lower part applied with corded band adorned with three cast cherubs, domed profiled base. The reverse stamped twice with Næstved town mark, maker's mark with indistinct year. Hans Tobiesen's collector mark. Maker Joen Joensen, Næstved c. 1700–1756. Weight 233 g. H. 13 cm.
