Eight dinner knifes, eight dinner forks, eight dinner spoons, eight right hand soup spoons and one extra for left handed, eight lunch forks, eight lunch knives, eight latte spoons, eight tea spoons, four pastry forks, two desert spoons, one sauce spoon, two sets of salad cutlery and a larger pastry fork.

In 1957, the “AJ” cutlery was designed as a part of Arne Jacobsen’s ensemble for the SAS Royal Hotel and was initially custom-made for the hotel restaurant. From 1957 until circa 1977 the cutlery was manufactured by A. Michelsen, subsequently by Georg Jensen. In Stanley Kubrick’s famous science fiction motion picture “2001: A Space Odyssey”, the “AJ” cutlery is used by the passengers of the space shuttle.
