Johann Jacob Grosser verge pocket watch in silver and shell triple cases, white dial with Roman numerals and outer 5-minutes Arabic numerals, gilt movementwith rose-cut ruby, signed Joh Jac Grosser Fürth, serial no. 605. Inner case marked IM, middle case unmarked. Outer case of brass with shell coating, adorned with silver rims and pliqué pins. Germany c. 1770. Case diam. 40/46/54 mm.

Johann Jacob Grosser is listed in Augsburg until 1764 and Fürth from 1768.

Condition

The watch works, but we do not guarantee for the functionality. Dial with a very few minimal chips. Second case with worn catch button. Shell: Front bezel with minor missing piece, back case with larger missing piece, a few cracks and missing pliqué pins.
