Kamma Rahbek (1775–1829) was married to the somewhat older Knud Lyhne Rahbek. Together they bought Bakkehuset, Frederiksberg, where Danish writers of the Golden Age met in Kamma Rahbek's salon to simple treats, but all the more witty conversations. Oehlenschläger, Jens Baggesen, Sophie Ørsted, Poul Martin Møller, Grundtvig, Ingemann, H. C. Andersen, P. O. Brøndsted and Heiberg were among the prominent guests.
