Original B&W silver gelatin press photograph of American civil rights activist Dr Martin Luther King Jr. (1929–1968) during his ‘I Have a Dream’ speech in Washington, D.C. on August 28, 1963. Back with agency stamp, restriction stamp, pencil note and stamped newspaper publication date (April 5, 1968). Black stained oak wood frame and double glazing. Visible size 24×19.5 cm. Frame size 34×30 cm.

Dr. Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream' speech in Washington D.C. on 28 August 1963 was a powerful call to the nation's rulers to end segregation - still practiced, even legally, in the American South at the time - and to live up to the Constitution's commandment that 'All Men Are created Equal'.
