A Chinese tripod Longquan celadon incense burner, walls decorated with slightly incised leaf ribs below a ruyi designed frieze. Qing 18th-19th century. H. 23.5 cm. Later fitted wood cover pierced in shape of bats, finial of jade carved as entwined dragon's tails.
Provenance: Danish private collection based on two generations' stay in China 1885–1945.
