Jens Thirslund (b. Kolding 1892, d. København 1942)

An earthenware table lamp decorated with leaf decor in red lustre glaze on a grey lustre base. Fitted with brass mounting. Signed HAK. Made by Kähler. H. excl. socket 43 cm. H. incl. shade holder approx. 67.5 cm.

Condition

Top rim underside with a few glaze chips. Side with small “hole”-shaped marks and cracks. Base rim with chips. Originally a vase, later mounted with a socket and pierced for a cord on the lower part. We do not guarantee for the functionality.
