Literature: Michael Varming, “Paul Fischers København - og vores”, 2006, mentioned and reproduced p. 7. Varming writes (in Danish): “Musse was Paul Fischer's second wife. She looks healthy and lush. She was a concert singer and was baptized Martha Vilhelmine Jensen (1888–1966). The picture was painted in 1911, but they were first married in 1914. Perhaps that is why he painted her as a maid”?
