It it possible that the profile portraits are depicting Landgrave Carl of Hesse-Kassel (1744–1836) and his wife, Landgravine Louise of Hesse-Kassel (1750–1831), née Princess of Denmark as daughter of King Frederik V, and their son, Prince Christian of Hesse-Kassel (1776–1814). The Landgrave couple's daughter, Princess Louise of Hesse-Kassel, married Duke Wilhelm of Glücksburg in 1910.
