A richly carved Baroque style oakwood and rosewood cupboard with two panelled doors and two drawers. Made in the years between 1942–1948. H. 220. W. 220. D. 75.
Made in the years between 1942–1948 by the Danish cabinetmaker and wood carver Ejnar Martin Jørgensen (1890–1980), one of the most acknowledged Danish wood carvers of that era. The cupboard was his 25th anniversary wedding present to himself and his wife. Since it was a spare time project, it took him six years to finish the job.
Ejnar Martin Jørgensen's works can be seen in sevaral Jutlandic churches.
Very modest signs of wear. Key included.
