Olaf Stæhr-Nielsen (b. Frederiksberg 1896, d. 1969)

A pair of sterling silver gravy bowls with matching gravy ladles, ebonite handles and spacers. Made and marked by A. Michelsen with date letter to bowls and ladles resp. A9=1951 and G9=1957. Total weight 1008 g. Gravy bowls: H. 10.5 cm. Diam. 16 cm. Gravy ladles: L. resp. 16 cm. and 17 cm. (4)

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Both bowls with surface scratches to the inside. Some dark surface spots. One bowl with engraving to the upside of base: “Lazarus 23–9-1951”. One gravy ladle (=1951) with slightly loose handle. One gravy bowl with a minimal dent to side of the bowl.
