“PK 22”. A pair of very early lounge chairs with black painted steel frame. Seat and back upholstered with patinated dark brown leather. Designed 1956. These examples manufactured approx. 1956 by E. Kold Christensen, not stamped. (2)
Provenance: Skive Seminarium (teacher's college).
This early model with welded joints on frame. Later versions with screws.
Condition
Extensive wear due to age and use. Frames with scratches, marks and rust. Leather dry with defects, undone stitchings, cracks and stains.
