Johann Gottlieb Hantzsch (b. Neudorf 1794, d. Dresden 1848)

Johann Gottlieb Hantzsch studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden from 1811 to 1822. He became known for painting small domestic scenes as the present painting.

Condition

The canvas needs a light tightening. Minor retouches. Minor crackles and some minor peelings.
