Introduced in 1995, the Breitling Emergency became the world’s first wristwatch equipped with an integrated emergency transmitter. Developed for pilots, adventurers and professionals operating in remote or high-risk environments, the model represented an unusual combination of wristwatch and functional emergency equipment.
Provenance: This particular example was previously owned by Danish war photographer Jan Grarup, whose work over several decades has taken him to some of the world’s most conflict-ridden regions, adding a compelling sense of authenticity to the watch.
