The Russian brig Paulina Brandt of Arkhangelsk. Inscribed in Danish “Paulina Brandt of Arkhangel under the command of D. Boysen off Marsile”. Signed and dated J. Petersen 1841. Drawing ink and watercolour on paper. Visible size 45×62 cm.
“Marsile” is the artist's way of spelling Marseille.
Some foxing and creases. The paper has turned slightly brown.
