Unknown photographer: An original American black-and-white photograph of the jazz legend Louis Armstrong (1901–1971) during the American Festival in Massachusetts, USA in 1955. From 1947 onwards Louis Armstrong worked intensely with the so-called All Stars and had an impressive touring schedule. The 1960s brought a certain recession, yet all in all it was not a bad decade for him. During this period he created hits such as “Hello Dolly” and - even more significant - “All the Time in the World” (1969). The latter was made for the James Bond movie “In Her Majesty's Secret Service”.
