Kaj Gottlob (b. Copenhagen 1887, d. 1976)
Impressive and unique bar cabinet of nut wood and nut root, mounted on tall, carved “spiral” base, front with two pull out leaves. Cabinet with curvy, profiled top, front with two doors each inlaid with compass rose marquetry. Interior with carved shelves and drawers. Made 1926 by cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen, signed and stamped by maker. H. 195.5 cm. D. 40–45 cm. W. 100–109 cm.

Provenance: Made on special order for present owner's grandfather.
Normal patina including scratches, marks and some minor notches. Doors with crackles and some small chips in the veneer. Shelves with veneer chips on the edges. Right door is slightly oblique.
