A Chinese bronze censer on belonging stand, cylindrical form with handles in shaoe of elephant heads. Total weight including content app. 2396 g. Marked Xuande but 19th century. H. including the base 12. Diam. 11 cm.

Provenance: Purchased by the present owner's family while working for “Store Nordiske”, the Great Nordic communications company, in China between 1917–1933.
