A fine silver mounted Norwegian knife with grip and sheath in walrus. The grip is carved with the head of a bearded man with long wavy hair, the blade is c 9,2 cm long and the upper mounts is hall marked HR as well as 18 1/2 L.

Made before 1892. Provenance: Antiquarian Gerda Petri (1934–2020), former curator at The Royal Danish Collection, Copenhagen.

Condition

The tip of the blade is missing and the mounts are loose.
