Marked in underglaze green Cyrillic H II for Tsar Nicholas II of Russia (1894–1917) and in underglaze blue with hammer, sickle and gear 1922 N 228/26 with Russian text: “after drawing by Vilde”. Diam. 23 cm.
Provenance: Acquired by the sellers in the late 1980s in Russia, where they were stationed as diplomates.
Minimal wear due to age, among others minimal worn decoration.
